Czech Republic has signed the Accession Protocols of Sweden and Finland into NATO

Following the previous support of both chambers of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the accession protocols were formally signed on 31 August, 2022 by the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman.
The Czech Republic is convinced that the membership of Sweden and Finland in NATO will be a definite security benefit for both NATO and the Czech Republic. This is a significant step in anchoring its own security guarantees and represents an unprecedented expansion of full Alliance strength.
