Shortly after receiving the news about terrorist attack in Stockholm Bouslav Sobotka, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic sent the letter of condolences to Prime Minister Stefan Löfven.
Your Excellency, Dear Prime Minister,
I was very deeply struck by the news of today’s attack in the heart of Stockholm, which has claimed innocent human lives and caused a number of wounded.
All indications so far point to another terrorist act which is to seed fear, panic and frighten the free world. I strongly condemn this act and I assure you that the Czech Republic stands firmly by your side in the fight against terrorism. We must not let us blackmail by unacceptable and deplorable practices of terrorists.
Your Excellency, please accept my deepest condolences on behalf of myself as well as the Government of the Czech Republic. Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those who died in this cowardly attack.
Respectfully yours,
Bohuslav Sobotka
Prime Minister of the Czech Republic
