Gathering of Czechs and Slovaks living in Sweden

Ambassador Jiří Šitler attended traditional gathering of Czechs and Slovaks living in Scandinavia, which took place in Kyrkekvarn from May 10 to May 13, 2018. Union of Czech and Slovak organizations in Sweden (TSFR - Tjeckiska och Slovakiska Föreningarnas Riksförbund i Sverige) keeps this tradition alive and this has been already 36th annual meeting of all expats living in Sweden and neighboring countries.
Ambassador introduced the activities of the Embassy and in particular all the events related to the 100th anniversary of founding Czechoslovakia and 50th anniversary of so called Prague Spring.
Music band Kapela starych casu and other artists provided a rich cultural program.
