
Deputy Minister of Environment Vladislav Smrž visited Sweden

From March 30 to March 31, 2017 Deputy Minister of Environment Vladislav Smrž with a delegation from the Ministry of Environment visited Sweden to discuss issues of waste management, water protection, Smart Cities, urban transport and nature protection.
Bilateral cooperation and several EU policies were also discussed.
The delegattion met with Östen Ekengren, Vice President of the Swedish Environmental Research Institute, Per Ängqvist, State Secretary for environmental issues and urban development, Eva Svedling, State Secretary for climate issues and Björn Risinger, Director General of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. Czech delegation also visited Stockby Returpak, a part of the waste sorting company SÖRAB.
