The meetup was open to international students and alumni who have studied at Czech universities through degree programmes, exchange stays, short-term courses or seasonal schools. Czech students currently studying in Sweden were also invited, together with Swedish and other locally based students and alumni of Czech language courses and Bohemian studies.

The programme opened with welcoming remarks by Ambassador Radek Matula, who highlighted the importance of maintaining ties with international alumni and strengthening Czech–Swedish educational and cultural relations.

The evening continued with a light-hearted Czech-themed Kahoot quiz testing participants’ knowledge of Czech history, culture and traditions, followed by informal networking over traditional Czech refreshments, including Czech beer.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Stockholm greatly values its alumni community in Sweden and looks forward to future meetings and continued cooperation.
