Europe Day in Stockholm

The Europe Day celebrations were held at Södra Teatern in Stockholm on Monday, May 9. The organizers prepared a whole day program devoted to current EU issues, the outdoor space was designed for presentations of the EU Member States and cultural performances.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Stockholm prepared for the event along with the CzechTourism a stand with tourist materials about the Czech Republic and in cooperation with the Czech Centre, there were two performances held of the clown theater company Squadra Sua, who is currently on a visit to Sweden. Their performances received positive reactions from the public and representatives of the other EU Member States, also participating on the celebrations. The event was also attended by the Ambassador Jiří Šitler.
