Czech Companies at Elmia Subcontractor

Elmia Subcontractor 2018, the largest manufacturing trade fair in Northern Europe hosted by Jönköping from November 13 to November 16, 2018 attracted a large number of Czech companies. There were in total 21 Czech companies and two large stands: one of the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade and the other of Czech Trade Agency.
Ministry of Industry and Trade in cooperation with Czech Union of Foundries presented 10 companies, namely: Beneš a Lát a.s., DRUPOL výrobní družstvo, EXPLAT s.r.o., FERRAM STROJÍRNA s.r.o., IMT foundry s.r.o, MODELÁRNA LIAZ s.r.o., MS ProTech s.r.o., Spojené slévárny, s r.o., TOS-MET slévárna a.s. a UNEX a.s.. CzechTrade Agency 11 others (3 only in form of catalogue presentation) : Boki Industries a.s., Dendera a.s., Dioss Nýřany a.s., HTP s.r.o., Klemat CZ s.r.o., Promet Group a.s., Laser Centrum CZ s.r.o., ZPS – Slévarna a.s., Spoluworks Perfecta, Tvarmetal s.r.o. and Drupol.
Ambassador Jiří Šitler visited both stands on November 15, 2018. He opened the event hosted by Ministry of Industry and Trade and participated in various B2B meetings and discussed trade issues with representatives of the Ministry, Cuech Trade as well as Czech Union of Foundries. Czech companie also had the opportunity to attend B2B seminar Subcontractor Connect.

Ambassor Šitler used the opportunity of being Jonköping to meet Mr. Ivo Krsek, founder of ALFA Skogsservice AB whose family is from the Czech Republic. Ambassador Šitler also met Mrs. Renata Chlumska, who was first female from the Czech Republic as well as Sweden (she has dual citizenship) to climb Mount Everest.
