
The Ambassador of the Czech Republic took part in the opening of the HEMUS Defense Equipment Exhibition

The HEMUS 2018 Defense Exhibition was inaugurated in Plovdiv on 30 May.
The opening ceremony was attended by Bulgarian President R. Radev, Deputy Prime Minister (also Minister of Defense) Karakachanov and Ambassadors of several countries incl. of the Czech Republic. This year, Czech companies are not participating in the exhibition. In the introductory speech to the fair it was mentioned that it is attended by 68 exhibitors from 17 countries. During his visit to the trade fair, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic held several meetings, also with the Deputy Minister of Defense V. Zaprjanov and Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic and General Director of the Plovdiv Exhibition Center I. Sokolov. He also acted with the main coordinator of cyber defense and security BG G. Sharkov of the Ministry of Defense.
