The Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Bulgaria Mr. Dušan Štrauch was present at the official opening of the 74th International Technical Fair in Plovdiv, which took place on September 24, 2018. More than 550 companies from 35 countries, including the Czech Republic, participated in this year's fair. The trade fair was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, who stressed that it was time for Bulgaria to move to a new model of economic development. According to him, it is necessary for BG to invest more in new technologies and robotics that add value.
After the official part, the ambassador traditionally visited the Czech stand, where 5 Czech companies are exhibiting this year: KE-ARM, SIMEX (represents several companies), KORAN, ZES SILKO, ZP Trade Bohemia.
