
Ambassador of the Czech Republic made the appearance at BULATOM conference in Varna

Between June 7 and June 8, 2017 H. E. Mr. Dušan Štrauch, Ambassador of the Czech Republic, visited Black Sea coast at the region of Varna.
The main goal of his official trip was the participation at the annual BULATOM conference, the theme of this year was „National, Regional and world energy security“. Mr. Ambassador made the appearance at the opening panel with paper “Czech Nuclear Energy Sector – situation and future plans”, which was prepared with kind cooperation of State office of the Czech Republic for Nuclear safety.
Within this official trip Mr. Ambassador met with Ms. Zdeňka Boeva, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Varna. They discussed oncoming demanding summer tourist season.
In the evening on June 7, 2017 Mr. Ambassador visited the historical city of Balchik close to Varna, where he participated the opening of children folklore festival. 2 ensembles of the Czech Republic attended the festival, „Jiřičky“ from Mladá Boleslav and „Štývar children ´s choir“ from Třinec. Before the official opening Mr. Ambassador welcomed children and their accompaniment in Bulgaria and listened the short improvised performance of Czech ensembles.
