Official Launch of the Macedonian edition of the Book History of Czech Culture

On 17.11, the official launch of the Macedonian edition of the book History of Czech Culture took place at the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Independence in Skopje, which is a sequel to the History of the Czech Republic, the work of the same authors issued by the same publisher Makform – Skopje in 2014. Both books were published thanks to the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
 

The contents and selected thoughts from the work, which on nearly 300 pages covers the period of Czech history from its beginning until today, was presented in detail by prof. Marko Kitevski, employee of the local Institute of History. Beside Ambassador Miroslav Toman, who in his speech concentrated on the historical connection and importance of the Czech National holiday 17.11, the guests were also greeted by all the authors of the edition, i.e. prof. Jan Rychlík; Bulgarian historian Vladimir Penchev and his Macedonian colleague Novica Veljanovski.
