During her meeting with the President, Ambassador Baschová emphasized the long-standing ties between the Czech Republic and Singapore. She also highlighted the significant Czech footprint in Singapore, whether in architecture or through the Baťa brand, which will soon celebrate 100 years of its presence in the country.

The Ambassador expressed her determination to work on strengthening the partnership and cooperation between the two countries, based on cultural interconnectedness, shared values, innovation, and building resilience. Her goal is to deepen political and economic cooperation, support the activities of Czech companies in Singapore, and foster collaboration between Czech and Singaporean research institutions and universities.

An important part of her mission will also be the promotion of Czech culture and the strengthening of relations with the Czech community in Singapore.
