Today we commemorate all those to whom the communist regime denied freedom, dignity, and even life. Seventy‑six years ago, following a fabricated political trial, figures such as Milada Horáková, Záviš Kalandra, Jan Bouchal, and Oldřich Pecl were executed. These heroes gave their lives for the values of democracy. We remember.
