Belt & Road Brand Expo 2017

December 8-10, 2017 Shanghai Exhibition Center: Czech Pavilion owned a total area of 36 sq.m .(6m x 6m) consisted of 4 standard booths. Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai organized four Czech companies to participate in the exhibition due to space limit.

The influence far exceeded exhibitor’s expectations with positive feedback and impressive sales results. Exhibitors Marlenka and Botanicus had not only sold out their stock but also their brand images were highly promoted. Particularly Marlenka cake attracts many people to the Czech pavilion and has become hot topic on Taobao (Chinese e-commerce giants). Czech companies express their willingness to attend the exhibition next year.

Belt & Road Brand Expo 2017(www.brbexpo.com) was organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanghai and China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Shanghai. The Expo is held for the purpose of enhancing international trade cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and meeting people’s ever-growing need for foreign products. Themed "Better Life and Beyond", the Expo occupies a total area of around 10,000 sq.m to showcase exhibits mainly in food and beverage, fashion, tourism, culture, sports, health as well as investment and trade. Over 20,000 visitors attended the fair with more than 40 media coverage, and 160 companies from 28 countries and regions including Czech Republic, Australia, Cuba, Hungary, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland etc., as well as China displayed the best of their exotic products, advanced technologies and diverse culture.  During the Expo supporting activities were organized such as National Pavilion roadshow, match-makings, master’s class, show time, and display & contest.
