The Consul General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai met not only with leading representatives of the City Council, the Chinese art and academic community (e.g. the Chairman of the Asian Design Management Association, professors of the Academy of Fine Arts and the Director of the National Research Centre for Design Management), but especially with Mr. Marcus Mucha, Executive Director of the Mucha Foundation and great-grandson of Alphons Mucha.

The Wulin Star Expo Center, formerly the largest oxygen plant in China and a symbol of the city's industrial transformation, has been transformed into a key modern cultural center. Its exhibition area is more than 30,000 square meters and focuses on international thematic exhibitions from the Czech Republic, France, Italy and other countries. At the same time, it includes exhibitions of design studios including young artists.
