Organized by the China Machine Tool Manufacturers and Users Association (CMTBA), the Shanghai CNC Machine Tool Fair (CCMT) is a biennial event that cannot be missed by any CNC machine and machining technology company. This year's edition, held from 8 to 12 April covered 200,000 m2.

It was an excellent opportunity for Czech companies to present their products and technologies on an international level. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic organized an official Czech exposition in pavilion E2 - A001, with 11 Czech companies participating. The Czech business sector has a permanent interest in the market of CNC machines and technologies in China. For a number of Czech companies in this industry, China is the second largest market after Germany.

The Czech exposition was officially opened on 8^th of April 2024.  The following day a B2B matchmaking event for Czech companies and potential Chinese partners took place as one of the official accompanying events within the fair. The event offered Czech companies the opportunity to meet potential Chinese partners and explore new business opportunities. Thanks to the participation of the media and the promotion on social networks, the information about the event, Czech companies and their products reached wider audience outside the halls of the event.

Consulate General of the Czech Republic Shanghai supported the event and Mr. Karel Šrol, Consul General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai, officially opened the matchmaking event together with the representative of the fair organizer, Mr. Wang Liming/e, vice president of the CMTBA, and Mr. Bedřich Musil from the Association of Engineering Technology.
