Czech products at CIIE 2023

The sixth edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) took place in Shanghai on November 5-10 displaying products from all over the world, Czechia included.
 

This year's event covered an area of 360,000 m2 and was divided into 6 thematic areas: food and agricultural products; automobiles; smart industry and information technology; consumer goods; medical equipment and products; trade in services. According to official statistics, more than 3,400 companies from more than 150 countries participated in the exhibition. The exhibition was officially launched on 5th of November with an opening ceremony attended by Premier Li Qiang.

As every year, a number of Czech companies presented their products at Expo. The main Czech participation was located in the food hall 2.2, where five Czech companies presented themselves at the joint Czech pavilion organized by CzechTrade Shanghai: Aecons s.r.o. (Bona Vita), BlueTouch Export s.r.o., C.O.Products s.r.o. (Fromin), Primator a.s., Rudolf Jelínek a.s.

Several other brands, mainly from the crystal glass industry participated individually, for example: Eleonora and Kanpura Bohemia Crystal, AZ Design, Jiří Pačinek, Luxury Gold, Šenýr Bijou, Preciosa beauty, Granát Turnov, Egermann, Caesar Crystal, Clartés Bohemia, Bohemia Jihlava, Halama, Kavalier, Marlenka, Prague chocolate, or Pivovary group CZ.

Consul General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai, Karel Šrol visited Czech companies at CIIE on 6 November to show support and discuss the possibilities for further improving the image of Czechia and Czech products in China.
