Czech goods pavilion opened in Ningbo

Permanent pavilion with Czech goods was officially opened on 8 June 2021 in Ningbo, during the China – CEEC Expo 2021
On 8 June, Mr. Karel Šrol, Consul General of the Czech Republic to Shanghai, participated in the opening ceremony of the the Czech permanent pavilion in the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Ningbo. During the ceremony, he delivered a speech, followed by remarks by Mr. Li Guanding, Vice Mayor of Ningbo, who for example mentioned that China plans to import 170 billion USD worth of goods from central and eastern European countries. Ningbo is the economical center of the east coast and one of the largest seaports in the world, making it the ideal gate to China for products from Central and Eastern Europe.
The Czech permanent pavilion, as well as pavilions of other counties were established under the 16+1 economic cooperation platform with aim to permanently display products from the participating countries. The scale and the variety of displayed products make it the largest shopping center for central and eastern European products open 7 days a week.
Czech pavilion offers products from famous Czech crystal from chandeliers or design vases all the way to glassware for everyday use; Czech beverages such as Becherovka, Absinth, beer (Litover, Holba, Zubr), wines (Ludwig) or Marlenka cakes.
Mr. Karel Šrol, Consul General of the Czech Republic to Shanghai gave a number of interviews during the event, including to the news station CGTN and China Radio International.
