Czech pavilion offered 400m2 of space to 42 Czech companies from a plethora of different fields. Czech exposition impressed visitors not only with its size but mainly with the variety and quality of displayed products. Besides larger exhibits such as the new Škoda PRO, PETROF piano, or the ICU bed with cutting edge technology from Linet, visitors could also admire for example kitchen equipment from TESCOMA, nanofiber masks and window nets from Respilon or learn more about services offered by Homecredit. There was also a large number of Czech crystal brands and everyone could taste Czech beer and other food and beverages from the Czech Republic.

Official opening ceremony of the Czech Pavilion took place on 9 June. It was attended by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to China, Consul General of the Czech Republic to Shanghai and representatives from Zhejiang Provincial Committee, Ningbo Municipal Committee, Zhejiang People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office and Ningbo CEEC Centre.

As part of Czech presentation, companies with shops on the Tmall or Taobao platforms had the opportunity to promote their products through a live streaming event. During the broadcast, the presenter briefly introduced the Czech Republic and subsequently the individual products that viewers could immediately purchase.
