From the Saudi side Dr. Bandar Eid Al-Harbi, Advisor to the Speaker, members of the Office of the Speaker and Protocol Office were present, the Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. P. Dubovec, Minister-Counsellor.

During the meeting, the Ambassador handed over the original letter by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Mr. Radek Vondráček with an invitation to the Speaker of the Shoura Council to visit the Czech Republic. The Speaker thanked him for the letter and mentioned that he welcomed the invitation with pleasure and would like to visit the Czech Republic in summer of this year, before the summer parliamentary break begins. He reminded his private visit to the Czech Republic in 2016 (Prague, Karlovy Vary). Both sides have noted a very good level of bilateral co-operation and interest in its further expansion.
