The Czech Representation hosted a meeting of Heads of Governments of the Visegrad Group countries with the President of the European Parliament.
The Czech Prime Minister Petr Nečas led the Czech delegation at a meeting of the European Council on 28 and 29 June 2012 in Brussels. Heads of State and Government of the European Union took decisions on, among others, measures to overcome the current economic crisis, the situation in the eurozone, measures to support growth, and the Union’s multi-annual financial framework.
On the eve of the summit on Thursday 28 June 2012, the Czech Permanent Representation to the EU hosted, upon invitation of Czech PM Petr Nečas, a meeting of the Heads of Government of the Visegrad Group. Prime Ministers Petr Nečas (Czech Republic), Viktor Orbán (Hungary), Donald Tusk (Poland) and Robert Fico (Slovakia) were joined by the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz.
