The Head of Representative Office discussed cooperation with the Order of Malta

The Head of the Representative Office Petr Starý met with the Head of the Representative Office of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Palestine, Ambassador Michele Bowe, on 13 July 2021.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Order of Malta, in particular in the West Bank. Ambassador Bowe informed about the current situation of the Order's work in Palestine, especially the impact the Covid-19 pandemic had on all its activities. Among other things, the Knights of Malta in Palestine operate the largest maternity and neonatal hospital of the Holy Family in Bethlehem, with which the Czech Republic has cooperated in development projects in the past.
