Cooperation with Caritas Jerusalem Expands to the West Bank

The Czech Representative Office and Caritas Jerusalem concluded an agreement under which the charitable organisation will receive a mobile clinic configured as a medical tent with all the necessary equipment, which will be connected to an ambulance car. The project will be implemented within the framework of the Reconstruction Program of the Czech Republic in the Middle East region for the period 2025-2027.

The mobile clinic will operate in the West Bank area, mainly between the Christian community of Taybeh, where Caritas Jerusalem operates a small healthcare facility, and the city of Jericho. The target population will be scattered Bedouin communities and residents of isolated small villages, who receive primary health care sporadically and often with delays. The mobile clinic will tour the affected areas regularly, and will offer both preventive check-ups and basic medical services.
