Czechia Shooting Day 2024

The 4th edition of the annual Czechia Shooting Day organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in partnership with Formalito and Tactical HQ, local distributors of the Czech brands present on the day, took place on 25 April at the Eeufees shooting range in Pretoria. The aim of this event was to showcase and present renowned Czech manufacturers of firearms and ammunition to six dozens of participants across public and private defence sectors.
The day began with a light breakfast and networking session for all the attendees. The guests were then divided into five groups for an opportunity to test the various firearms and ammunition on display.
Amongst the six dozens of guests were members and officials from the Government, Department of Defence in SA, Armscor, SANDF, SAPS Special Task Force, Defence Attachés, security companies as well as other private security companies who all had an opportunity to test the wide range of products present at each of the five different stations offered by Czech manufacturers demonstrated by their South African distributors Formalito and Tactical HQ.
Present Czech companies included: CZUB, whose products are distributed into more than 90 countries worldwide, represented in South Africa by Formalito; Czech Small Arms (CSA), the only manufacturer of Sa vz.58 and Sa vz.61 firearms, represented in South Africa by Tactical HQ; Luvo who since 1919 have been delivering products for military and professional forces that became a symbol of quality and excellent workmanship, represented in South Africa by Tactical HQ; STV Technology, who is amongst the leaders in the ammunition production and military business fields in the Czech Republic, represented in South Africa by Tactical HQ. Last but not least, representatives of the largest Czech military equipment holding Czechoslovak Group were also present on the day.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pretoria thanks all the participants and congratulates the winners of the overall competition.
