Direct Flights to Connect the Czech Republic & Canada in Summer 2025

The Czech Embassy in Ottawa and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Toronto are pleased to announce the resumption of direct flights between Toronto and Prague. Air Canada will operate modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights connecting Toronto and Prague three times a week, starting in summer 2025.

“Every year, the number of Canadian tourists visiting the Czech Republic is growing. This spring, 38% more Canadians traveled to Prague compared to the previous year.  In 2023 in total 70,000 Canadians visited our country. Additionally, compared to other tourists visiting the Czech Republic, Canadians tend to enjoy longer stays. Therefore, Air Canada's decision to restart direct flights to Prague is great news not just for Czechs visiting Canada, but also for Canadian tourists, students, and business travelers,” noted Czech Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Martin Tlapa, on this occasion.

This convenient connection will provide an excellent opportunity for both leisure and business trips, allowing Canadians to experience the Czech Republic or explore new business opportunities, and giving Czechs the chance to enjoy summer in Canada.

The Czech Republic consistently ranks as one of the safest countries in the world. It offers an unparalleled blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. From the medieval streets of Prague to world-class landscapes and over 2,000 castles and châteaux, the Czech Republic promises an unforgettable European adventure, all within a welcoming and accessible environment. Join the 70,000 Canadians who come every year and enjoy the vibrant cultural scene with traditional festivals, music, folklore, and of course—the Bohemian beer culture.

Direct tickets can be booked on Air Canada website.
