Czech exports to Canada surged by 10.7%, reaching an impressive $1.1 billion CAD, while Canadian exports to the Czech Republic saw an even more remarkable increase of 28%, totaling $288 million CAD. These Canadian Statistics figures highlight the deepening economic ties and shared benefits of our growing trade partnership.

The steady rise in Czech exports to Canada reflects the strength and diversity of Czech industries, with electronic and electrical equipment, industrial machinery, consumer goods and automotive parts being Canada’s primary imports from the Czech Republic. In 2024, Czech manufacturing companies, such as Wikov, also successfully expanded their footprint in Canada with significant investments across the country. Additionally, the Czech brewing sector has strengthened its presence through the supply of hops, equipment and beer, such as Czechvar, to the Canadian market, catering to the growing demand for high-quality European products.

On the other side, Canada’s exports to the Czech Republic have also seen substantial growth, driven by increased shipments of key commodities, advanced technologies, and specialized equipment. Canadian firms such as Magna International or McCain have used their investments in the Czech Republic as a foundation to expand their business in Europe, contributing to innovation, job creation, and economic growth. The presence of these companies highlights the Czech Republic’s attractiveness as a destination for foreign investment, thanks to its strategic location, skilled workforce, and strong industrial base.
