Introducing - 'BraAgas' all the way from Czech Republic.
BraAgas is a world and medieval music band from Prague. Formed in year 2007, their repertoire consists of traditional songs from Southern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Balkans and Scandinavia. The musicians will enchant you with their unique vocals and vivid rhythms along with non-traditional brass and string instruments.
BRAAGAS - colourful women voices and folk songs from all around Europe. Performance at Rainforest world music festival 2010 on Borneo island and in most of the European countries. The band is characteristic for their expressive and colorful vocals and vivid rhythmic and also for the use of non traditional instruments, such as cither, bagpipes, shawm, shalimo and different kinds of percussions. Czech music award Andel in the World music category for CD´s Tapas (2009) and Yallah! (2014).
The band members are Katerina Gottlichova (vocal, cister, guitar, bagpipe, shawn), Karla Braunova (vocal, flute, shawn, chalumeau, clarinet), Michaela Krbcova (drums, percussion, vocal), Jan Hrbek (semi acoustic bass) and Bety Josefy -(vocal, drums, percussions)
