UPR52: Czechia to participate in the Universal Periodic Review of six countries

From 4 to 15 May 2026, the 52nd session of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Working Group will take place in Geneva. The UPR is an intergovernmental mechanism of the United Nations that examines the state of human rights in UN member states.
Czechia will present its human rights recommendations to Estonia, Belgium, Singapore, Somalia, Sierra Leone, and Paraguay.
Other countries under review during this session are Namibia, Mozambique, Niger, Denmark, Palau, Seychelles, the Solomon Islands, and Latvia.
In the review of Estonia, Czechia is also involved in the so‑called Troika and will participate in the preparation of all recommendations submitted to Estonia by states.
