In the run-up to Christmas, a charity bazaar organized by the United Nations Women's Association was held at the Palais des Nations, the headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva. The aim of this annual event is to raise as much money as possible to support women and children in need. Thanks to generous material support from Czech companies, the Permanent Mission in Geneva made a significant contribution to this aid.
The charity bazaar, more precisely the UNWG International Bazaar, took place on 9th December 2025, attracting thousands of Geneva diplomats as well as members of the public. Traditional Czech products, including those from the Crystal Valley, the Granát Turnov cooperative, and Thun 1794, were a great success despite strong competition from products from 100 other countries around the world. All proceeds from their sale will go to dozens of projects supporting disadvantaged women and children around the world. More information about the event is available HERE, and we have included a few more photos below.
