HRC33: The Czech Republic on report of the Commission of Inquiry on Syria

In the Interactive Dialogues with the members of the Commissions of Inquiry for Syria held on the 19th September, the Czech Republic fully supported their work and mandates and called for immediate and unrestricted access throughout the country.
The Czech Republic urged all parties to the conflict to stop committing indiscriminate attacks against the civilian population and civilian infrastructure, including against medical workers, health - care infrastructure and schools. In this context it stressed that the crimes against humanity and war crimes reported by the Commission must be investigated and those responsible held accountable to the International Criminal Court.
