Accompanied by the Deputy Vice-chair of the Chamber of Deputies Ms Věra Kovářová, Vice-Chair of the Committee on European Affairs Mr Jaroslav Bžoch as well as Member of the Interparliamentary Group of Friends of the Czech Republic and the Swiss Confederation Mr Róbert Teleky, Madam Speaker met with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Mr Peter Maurer, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Ms Michelle Bachelet and with the Director-General of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) Ms Fabiola Gianotti. The delegation‘s programme also included a visit to the Palais des Nations, European Office of the United Nations and commemoration of Václav Havel at his Memorial in Geneva.
