
The war veteran Brigadier General Miroslav Liškutín Ret. passed away

We regret to announce with deep sadness that on 19 February 2018 Brigadier General Miroslav Liškutín Ret. died in Fareham at the age of 98.
Brigadier General Liškutín, born 23 August 1919, served at the 312th and 313th Czechoslovak Fighter Squadrons of the British Royal Air Force during WWII. He was awarded many awards. In June 2017, he was handed over a diploma on promotion to Brigadier General by the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, who also awarded him the Medal for Bravery.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in London would like to express to Brigadier General Miroslav Liškutín ´s family and friends its deep and sincere sympathy.
