The first year of the annual Czech-British 'Anthropoid Forum' was held in London

On 20 and 21 June 2024, senior officials from across Czech and British government institutions gathered in London for the first year of the annual bilateral 'Anthropoid Forum' focused on foreign policy and security challenges and cooperation.

Honoring the legacy of the Czechoslovak WWII heroes, the delegation also visited historical sites - the former headquarters of the Czechoslovak Military Intelligence in the Porchester Gate building or the Battle of Britain Memorial. The officials also had a chance to talk to „Children of Heroes“ at a reception hosted by the Ambassador Marie Chatardová at the Czech Embassy in London. Last but not least, Lieutenant General Rehka and representatives of the Jagello 2000 Association presented the plaques of the Czechoslovak World War II Royal Air Force squadrons at the prestigious RAF Club in London.
