On 25 November 2016, the British Czech and Slovak Association (BCSA) held its traditional annual dinner, which was attended by representatives of the Czech and Slovak Embassies.
This year, the BCSA organised its annual dinner in the magnificent premises of the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel in London's Fitzrovia. The event was attended by more than 100 guests. The Embassy of the Czech Republic was represented by Mrs. Sabrina Sečková, wife of the Ambassador and Mr. Jan Brunner, Deputy Ambassador. The Slovak Ambassador Ĺubomír Rehák, who was also among the guests, gave a very interesting speech, as did the BCSA Chairman, Mr. Michael Roberts.
After a delicious dinner, which was served with Czech beer and Moravian wine, there was a raffle with beautiful prizes. Among them were several stays in luxury hotels in Czechia and Slovakia and a remoska (electric mini-oven of Czech origin) provided by Lady Milena Grenfell-Baines.
The dinner participants had an opportunity to spend a very pleasant evening with their fellow countrymen, to establish new personal and business contacts and to discuss joint plans for the future.
The Czech Embassy would like to thank the BCSA for its kind invitation.
