Among the topics discussed were the current development of Czech-British relations, political situation in the United Kingdom after the referendum on leaving the European Union and the planned steps of the UK towards migrant workers from Eastern Europe.
The next day, the delegation held a meeting at the Ministry of Culture, Media and Sport, where the Deputies met with Kathleen Stewart, the director of the Department of International Broadcasting and with Ian Neil, the Director of the Department of Radio and TV strategies. The delegation also visited several British media outlets- the BBC, Reuters and The Guardian newspaper, where they met with representatives of the top management from the three organisations.
