A group of UK architects, designers and interior specialists is visiting from 5 - 9 October the Czech Republic as part of an incoming business mission focused on Czech design, manufacturing capabilities and new opportunities for cooperation with the UK market.
The mission is organised by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London in cooperation with CzechTrade London under the PROPED economic diplomacy programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, with financial support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
The programme will connect UK professionals from the fields of architecture, design and interiors with Czech manufacturers, designers and companies with the potential to contribute to architectural, interior and development projects in the United Kingdom.
The opening part of the programme will take place in Prague and will include a specialist seminar at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. UK participants will meet representatives of Czech companies and discuss opportunities in the UK market, cooperation with architecture and design studios, development projects, and the expectations of UK partners when selecting suppliers.
Over the following days, the group will visit Czech manufacturers, showrooms and Designblok. The programme will also take participants outside Prague, where they will meet companies active in areas including design, interior solutions, manufacturing and glassmaking.
The mission aims to showcase the quality of Czech design, craftsmanship and manufacturing expertise while creating opportunities for direct business contacts between Czech companies and UK architects, designers and other industry partners.
The visit forms part of the Czech Republic’s wider economic diplomacy activities supporting Czech companies abroad and helping create new business opportunities through direct engagement with international partners.
