The event was opened by Katarina Hobbs, Director of CzechTourism UK, followed by welcome remarks from Deputy Head of Mission Irena Valentová. The programme brought together selected UK buyers from the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) sector with Czech partners for a series of targeted B2B meetings. These discussions confirmed the continued strong interest in the Czech Republic as a destination for congresses, conferences and corporate events.

The Czech Republic has long ranked among the world’s leading congress destinations. According to the ICCA rankings, it consistently places among the top twenty countries worldwide for hosting international conferences, while Prague remains firmly within the global top ten cities, currently ranked 5th.

The subsequent networking session helped establish new business contacts and further strengthen relationships with key partners on the UK market. The event also supported the promotion of the Czech Republic among industry professionals in connection with the follow-up trade fair, The Meetings Show 2026, held in London.
