Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Šrámek met with Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson at his residence

On Sunday 15 October 2017, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Ivo Šrámek, attended a working lunch with the British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, along with his counterparts from the Visegrad group countries (Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland) and the countries of Slovenia, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria. The meeting was held at Chevening House in Kent.
The ministers talked about top security issues such as the nuclear agreement with Iran, the Korean Peninsula crisis, the human rights situation in Burma / Myanmar, and about relations with the Eastern Partnership countries, the Western Balkans and Russia. Obviously, the discussions included also the ongoing negotiations on Brexit.
The meeting was carried out in an informal atmosphere and afterwards, Boris Johnson and Ivo Šrámek showed off their rowing skills to the other ministers.
