Minister Macinka to Pay a Working Visit to the United States

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czechia Petr Macinka will pay a working visit to the United States from 18 to 24 February 2026, holding meetings in Washington, D.C., and New York.
In Washington, on 19 February, he will attend the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace, to which the Czech Republic has been invited as an observer. His programme will also include talks with representatives of the U.S. administration and meetings with representatives of the Heritage Foundation and the Hudson Institute.
On 24 February, the Czech Foreign Minister will deliver a national statement at a special session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York marking the fourth anniversary of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. He will also take part in a meeting of the UN Security Council convened by the United Kingdom’s presidency on the situation in Ukraine.
The programme in New York will also include bilateral meetings, including talks with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres.
