CZEXPATS Interview: Professor Jan Marek,pediatric cardiologist

Around 100,000 people of Czech citizenship or origin currently lives in the United Kingdom. Among them, we can find many important personalities, but also individuals with unique personal stories. You will find out all that and more in our interview with the pediatric cardiologist Professor Jan Marek.

Professor Jan Marek is a senior consultant at the Children’s Cardiac Center at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London since 2005, a professor at University College London and Charles University. He has successfully defended a number of scientific grants and, among others, has written a textbook on echocardiography and prenatal cardiology. He is also an honorary member of the Czech and Italian Society of Cardiology.
