The main goal of the Business Forum bringing together more than 500 participants is to create a platform for a dialogue of private and public sector representatives with political leaders from the EU and Africa.

Deputy Minister Tlapa will then accompany Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka at the 4th EU-Africa Summit that will take place in Brussels on April 2-3, 2014. The summit will provide an opportunity for discussions with 53 heads of states of the African continent. Under the theme “Investing in People, Prosperity and Peace”, the participants will also discuss topics including security, climate change and migration.
