Petr Macinka

Petr Macinka is a Czech politician and manager, founder and chairman of the political party Motorists for Themselves. He comes from Velke Bílovice, South Moravia, where he lived in his childhood. He spent his high school years in Břeclav. He studied political science and international relations at the CEVRO Institute, where he earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees.
From 2008 to 2013 he worked in the Office of the President of the Republic as Head of the Press Service and Deputy Director of the Press Department of the the Office of the President of the Republic. From 2013 to 2025, he worked as a manager at the Václav Klaus Institute. In October 2025 he was elected to the Parliament of the Czech Republic as candidate for the Motorists for Themselves political party in the South Moravian Region. With his long experience in the public sphere, he is well read in domestic and foreign politics, strategic communication and the media environment.
He is married and raises two children with his wife Monika.
