Notice on the Closure of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong

As of 30 September 2026, the activities of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong will be terminated. Consular and visa responsibilities for Hong Kong and Macao will be taken over by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing.
Following this decision, the acceptance of new applications for individual consular services has been discontinued, with the exception of assistance to Czech citizens in emergency situations, which will continue to be provided by the Consulate General in Hong Kong until 31 August 2026.
The acceptance of applications for Schengen (short‑term) and long‑term visas will end on 13 July 2026. This option applies exclusively to applicants who have duly and timely registered for submitting their application.
From 1 August 2026, applications for Schengen visas will be accepted by the Czech Visa Centre in Shenzhen:
