"I am sincerely honored to begin my mission as the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Having visited Vietnam on several occasions over the years, I have always admired its remarkable energy and its ability to embrace change while remaining deeply rooted in its history and traditions. As I return in this new role, I look forward to getting to know the country even better and to contributing to the continued development of the relationship between Czech Republic and Vietnam. As a historian, I have a deep appreciation for the shared history that connects our two countries.

It reminds us that strong partnerships are built over time, through trust, understanding and personal connections. My priority as Ambassador is to help strengthen those ties by promoting closer cooperation in trade and investment, defence and security, education, science, innovation and culture, while supporting an even stronger partnership between Vietnam, Czech Republic and the European Union.

I am equally looking forward to discovering Vietnam beyond official meetings. As a passionate hiker, I hope to explore its beautiful landscapes, experience its rich history and culture, and meet people from all parts of the country. I am convinced that understanding a country begins with understanding its people, and I believe these experiences will enrich both my time in Vietnam and my work as Ambassador."
