About the Consul
Mr. Roni Gipsz, ( b. 1957 ) is the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Haifa.
On April 4, 2002, Mr. Roni Gipsz, was appointed, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, to hold the post of Czech Consul in Haifa and the Northern Regions of the State of Israel to provide, according to the Czech law, consular and other services to defend interests of the Czech Republic for the benefit of its citizens.
Since 1995, Mr. Roni Gipsz is the President and CEO of a business consultant company.
The company provides consultation and assistance in marketing, business development, economics, financial matters and management.
In the first 3 years the company was focused on the Israeli market. Since 1998, beyond its local activities, the company has started developing businesses between Czech and Israeli companies. In 1999, Mr. Gipsz was elected to the board of directors of the Czech Israeli Chamber of Commerce (CISOK), located in Prague, as the Official Representative of CISOK in Israel. The company has succeeded in establishing good working and personal relationships with Czech and Israeli economic key personnel. Close connections with government officials and organizations have been established in both countries as well.
Mr. Gipsz holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Management from the Technion in Haifa (1984).
Prior to his current position, he held posts as Chief Economist and assistant to the CFO in the Adacom Group Inc., Carmel Forge Ltd. and Elscint Ltd.
