Ondřej Hrabal, a philosopher, philologist and economist by education, comes from Buchlovice. He is a Czech Poetry Slam Champion, literary events organizer, and frontman of Bartleby band. Ondřej read from his Capital special project. 

Šimon Leitgeb is a university student from České Budějovice, Jiří Orten Prize Laureate, organizer of the Literatura žije! (Literature lives!) festival and Mezi náma (Between us) literary-musical series moderator. Šimon presented his deeply personal poems from Cement Beach collection.

In the cozy space of the famed bookshop, friendly audience of poetry lovers and fans included the Czech ambassador Pavel Vošalík; Irish star writer, poet, and performer Daragh Fleming; Irish singer-songwriter and musician Glen Hansard whose wife, the Finnish poet Maire Saaritsa, took the stage to present her delicate poems. The famed Ireland’s Poetry Slam Champion, Dublin-based Leon Dunne, concluded the night by his staple high-energy performance.
