Screening of Czech film "Waves"

On the occasion of the International Day for Human Rights, we will host a free screening of the Czech film Waves directed by Jiří Mádl.

Waves, the Czech Republic’s official submission for the 2025 Oscars, is inspired by true events surrounding a Czechoslovak public radio station during the Prague Spring of 1968 and the subsequent Warsaw Pact invasion. The film tells the story of two young brothers navigating the moral and political challenges of a society in crisis, offering a poignant reflection on freedom, truth, and human dignity.
