On 20 November 2016, the Royal Dublin Society hosted the yearly International Charity Bazaar and as in previous years, the Czech Republic actively participated in the event.
The Czech stall had a lot to offer, with traditional Czech goods such as artisan jewellery, baked goods, sausages and salami, and fresh sourdough bread attracting an abundance of customers. All proceeds from the sales went to various charities.
The bazaar provided the stage for the Dublin Czech School’s premiere performance as they performed a musical programme filled with Czech songs. They attracted a large crowed and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the show.
We would like to thank all of the many visitors who stopped at our stall, among them the wife of the President of Ireland Sabina Higgins and a number of ambassadors in Ireland. Furthermore, we would like to especially thank Preciosa Crystal, Breagagh Valley Artisan Meats from Kilkenny, Roth’s Bakery in Dublin, and Ali’s Adventures in Bakerland from Bray for their much appreciated support and cooperation.
