The Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies, Trinity College Dublin, is offering several evening courses in Czech language and literature in 2016-2017. Czech for Beginners, Upper-Intermediate Czech, the lecture course on Contemporary Czech Literature. Classes start in the week of 3rd October 2016. EVENING COURSES IN 2016-2017
- Czech for Beginners: for students with no prior knowledge of Czech
Tuesdays 7:00-9:00 pm
- Upper-Intermediate Czech: for students who already have some knowledge of
Czech grammar and some communicative competence in the language (having completed about 100 contact hours of Czech)
Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm
- Contemporary Czech Literature: This lecture course considers some of the most
significant authors of the contemporary literary scene, including Petra Hůlová, Miloš Urban, Patrik Ouředník, Michal Ajvaz and others. Petra Hůlová has agreed to come and join us for one of our sessions.
The course is subsidised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
Mondays 7:00-8:30 pm
Classes start in the week of the 3rd October.
