Jazz project ON/OFF featuring Peter Moc perform sold out show in Dún Laoghaire

On the beautiful spring evening of 5 April 2016, the theatre at DLR Lexicon became the venue for some truly great jazz. The intimate venue in the cultural heart of the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown area hosted Czech-Irish music duo Peter Moc (CZ) on guitar and Mark Flynn (IRL) on piano.

Their ongoing collaborative project ON/OFF was augmented on the night by two of Ireland’s premier jazz performers – Andrew Csibi on bass and drummer Kevin Brady. A Dečín native and graduate of Dublin’s prestigious Newpark Music Centre, Peter Moc composed most of the songs performed on the night, which he introduced with charm and humour. The concert attracted a sell-out crowd of 120 appreciative jazz fans who enjoyed the superb music and musicianship on display.

The concert was sponsored by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Dublin and organised in conjunction with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and DLR Lexicon. The Embassy would like to extend its sincere thanks to DLR Lexicon for hosting this successful event.
